Redstone Engineering Consulting Inc. was formed as a sole proprietorship in Colorado in 1987. The company was incorporated in 1997 and the name was changed to Redstone Aerospace Corporation.
Redstone's facility is located at 105 South Sunset Street, Longmont, CO 80501. The facility is approximately 5000 sq ft and includes offices, a 16’x20’class 10,000 production cleanroom, critical clean station, testing area, project stores and machine shop. Redstone uses local specialty shops to gain accessto additional testing facilities including vibration testing and optical surface measurement.
Redstone qualifies as a small business under the criteria and size standards in 13 CFR Part 121 (see 19.102). Redstone's accounting practices and rates have been audited and accepted bythe Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
Redstone has CPFF, T&M and FFP contracts directly with the government and with large prime contractors.
Redstone is registered with the US Department of State. Employees currently have active clearances.
